Breathe - White Lies
I still love you, so I left without saying “goodbye.”
I know why you’re awfully talkative tonight. You’re a liar.
You thought I wouldn’t notice
the unfamiliar clothes you’re wearing and your unusual habits?
“If you can’t lie well, you shouldn’t try.”
I swallowed those bitter words,
I’ll pretend not to notice until the very end. My heart’s the only one in pain.
If I can erase all my feelings with a “goodbye,” then I would be saved.
If you still have the tiniest bit of feelings for me…
I still love you, so I left without saying “goodbye.”
We took so many detours in this love but we’ve finally come to a dead end.
Keep lying until the very end. White lies.
The small beads of happiness that fell from my palms.
There’s probably no point in following after them.
I can’t even reflect on the memories of us together.
It’s too painful for me right now.
I remember someone once told me,
“Tears fail to fall when people are truly sad.”
If only I could cry, I’m sure I’ll feel much better, but my heart’s the only one drenched.
I guess you really want me to say “goodbye.”
I know, but let me turn my back to this destiny, just for a little bit…
Don’t say, “I’m sorry.” It makes me want to fight back.
Your kindness forces me to lie.
We keep hurting each other white lies.
The mark left by my ring will soon fade.
In the same way, sadness will eventually turn into memory.
But I’ll keep a special place for you.
If I can erase all my feelings with a “goodbye,” then I would be saved.
If you still have the tiniest bit of feelings for me…
I’m sure you would understand the reason why I don’t say “goodbye.”
I’m not trying to contradict the past we spent together.
Keep lying until the very end. White lies
Keep tellin’ me, keep tellin’ you, keep telling’ me White lies
Keep telling’ me, keep telling’ you
Keep tellin’ me, keep tellin’ you, keep telling’ me White lies
Keep telling’ me, keep telling’ you
